ERNEST WILFRED BROWN Ernest Wilfred Brown of Brookhaven died at Mather Memorial hospital in Port Jefferson on Thursday, January 11. He was born in Westhaven, Conn., in 1913, the son of Howard and Isabel Brown of Bellport. Mr. Brown leaves his wife, Mrs. Elsie J. Brown, three sons, Wilfred E. Brown, Leverett A. Brown, and James H. Brown; three brothers, Howard A. Brown, Walter R. Brown, Ellsworth R. Brown, with the Army in Italy, and two sisters, Miss Isabelle (sic) L. Brown, cadet nurse, of Paterson N.J., and Mrs Lona A. Beardsley of Bellville, Ill.; also his mother, Mrs. Howard A. Brown and a grandmother , Mrs. James LaGrange of Guilford, Conn. Funeral service was held in the Brookhaven Methodist church on Sunday, Jan 11, with Rev. Jones officiating, and interment was made in the Brookhaven cemetery.
